Preparing for an annual consolidation review
Once a year, step back from monthly deltas and ask whether your storage still matches your life.
Monthly packs excel at tracking change. The Annual Consolidation Review asks structural questions monthly notes intentionally skip.
Three weeks before your review
- Gather all devices and backup materials in one place—not to share seed phrases with us, but so you can verify your own inventory list.
- List dormant addresses you have not checked in twenty-four months. We will compare against chain activity.
- Note life changes: marriage, relocation, new safe deposit box, heir who should know about a wallet.
Questions we explore
- Has wallet sprawl increased without a corresponding need?
- Do backup locations still match what you reported?
- Are labels understandable to someone other than you?
- Are there consolidation opportunities you have deferred?
Deliverable shape
Expect a longer PDF—often twenty to thirty pages for complex holdings—with a summary section readable in ten minutes and appendices for address-level detail.
Pairing with monthly packs
Clients on monthly retainers receive reduced annual pricing because baseline data already exists. If you pause monthly packs, the annual review takes longer to prepare and is quoted accordingly.
