When Mr. Lee contacted us in 2024, he had purchased assets sporadically between 2013 and 2021. Devices accumulated—a first-generation hardware wallet, a replacement unit, two paper backups created during firmware upgrades he no longer remembered clearly.
The inventory session took two calls. He read address prefixes aloud while Minji transcribed labels he chose on the spot: “pre-2017 experiments,” “main cold stack,” “inheritance slice for daughter.”
The baseline map ran eleven pages. Within the first three monthly packs, reconciliation notes identified two addresses he believed were consolidated but still held small balances on-chain. He verified independently and moved funds on his own timeline.
What he valued most, he told us in a follow-up note, was that the pack never suggested he should sell or buy. It simply recorded what was true each month—a habit he wanted but could not maintain alone.
